Boards, Commissions & Committees

The County of San Bernardino has numerous boards, commissions and and committees (BCCs) providing advice and
feedback to the County Board of Supervisors on diverse
topics. Details about each County BCC, including
purpose, size, membership, vacancies and the
application/appointment process, are available here.
In addition, members of the County Board of Supervisors
are appointed by the Board Chairman to represent the
County on a variety of local, regional, statewide and
national committees. Follow the link below to see the

Effective January 1, 2007, state law (Assembly Bill 1234) requires that members of the County’s boards, commissions and committees complete ethics training within one year of appointment, and every two years thereafter. Follow this

The Local Appointments List concerns all regular and ongoing Boards, Commissions or Committees (BCCs) to
which members are appointed by the San Bernardino County Board of
Supervisors. This report identifies those BCCs and includes member
terms that are scheduled to expire during calendar year 2012. The
Local Appointments List is arranged according to Supervisorial
District.
