View Saturn at the County Museum
Telescopes will focus on the beautiful rings of Saturn at the San Bernardino County Museum on Saturday, March 26 between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m. The museum's education division and the San Bernardino Valley Amateur Astronomers are hosting this Saturn Party, which is free to the public.
The moon and possibly the planet Jupiter will also be visible during this full evening of sky watching. Members of the Amateur Astronomers Club will help viewers navigate happenings in the sky.
The San Bernardino Valley Amateur Astronomers are an affiliate group of the San Bernardino County Museum, working with the museum to present specialized programs for adults, families, and children. On April 16 they will partner with the museum to present Astronomy Day, with afternoon programming and evening telescope viewing.
The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. Parking is free, and the facility is handicapped-accessible. For more information, visit www.sbcountymuseum.org or call (909) 307-2669
