Chemistry Fair Returns to County Museum
Visitors to the San Bernardino County Museum on Saturday, October 29 will discover that “Chemistry is Everywhere” when the popular, hands-on Chemistry Fair returns for its annual museum visit.
The event, sponsored by the Chemistry Association and presented by chemistry students from Riverside Community College , is filled with kids-oriented experiments that amaze as they instruct. The event is free with museum admission.
“Every year the Chemistry Fair gets better and better,” said Jolene Redvale, museum curator of education. “The chemistry students are absolutely wonderful working with the wide-eyed youngsters who want to try everything and always ask ‘why.’ And that’s what science is all about.”
The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands . The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $6 (adult), $5 (student or senior), and $4 (child aged 5 to 12).
